From a body of work entitled: A Practical Beauty - Waterways of the Upper Snake River Valley of Idaho

On June 5th 1976 the Teton Dam located on the Teton River in eastern Idaho collapsed. The resulting flood caused billions of dollars of damage to downriver communities and altered the ecology of a once pristine river. These photographs document the current state of the Teton Dam and the impact it has had on the Teton River.
